Jacobs' Kindergarten Class

I'm so excited to welcome you and your child to Kindergarten at Butcher-Greene Elementary! The 2023-24 school year is my ninth year in the Grandview School District and my 18th year in education. I have also taught first grade, second grade, and Kindergarten in two other KC area districts. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, and a Master’s degree in Educational Technology.  

I love teaching Kindergarten the most and have taught it the longest! I enjoy it so much because of all the growth students make from the beginning to the end of the year. It's awesome to see those "Aha!" moments that come so frequently with Kindergarten students! 

School keeps me pretty busy, but I also have four daughters ranging in age from middle school to college, so my favorite thing to do is cheering on my girls at their activities. I also enjoy reading, trivia, and puzzles, traveling when I can, and spending time with family and pets.
